Many women experience problems with urinary leakage. This frequently is associated with coughing, sneezing, exercising and other activities. This can often be very embarrassing and requires women to wear protection to keep from wetting their clothes. Fortunately this can be corrected in many cases and the newer treatments have a high degree of success. Women rapidly tire of wearing a pad or feeling damp or wet much of the time, or often have to avoid some of the activities they would like to participate in, due to urinary incontinence. Patients are very carefully and thoroughly evaluated to determine the cause of and best treatment for this problem. They will find that an embarrassing problem is dealt with in a very caring, confidential and professional manner.
